Dr. Gentry is very thorough during your initial exam, finding out what you expect, learning your dental history, doing a careful examination and discussing your needs.

With some patients, staying attuned to their comfort and explaining the next step of each treatment is all that is needed to make their procedures comfortable.
When more assistance is needed, we can offer sedation with nitrous oxide. Using nitrous oxide, the degree of sedation needed to ensure patient comfort can be exactly controlled. And once treatment is complete, the effects of nitrous oxide disappear quickly. Please tell us about your concerns so we can discuss your choices.
